Rolling through the desert with Johnny Cash in my head and a camera in my hand. I finally got to visit Southern Utah with my crew.

We searched the first night for 2 hours and couldn't find a campsite. We settled.
In the morning we woke up with a better than expected view.
Unfortunately we were also surrounded on the opposite side by the highway & campers.
On the road heading into The Needles district of Canyonlands National Park.
We spent the day doing many short hikes and drove out to the river overlook on a dirt back road just before sunset.
There's also a good chance we were all wearing the same REI tshirt we got from a volunteer event we worked in Salt Lake City with the WomenMTB group the day prior....
I fell in love with this lil camper.
Then we explored around the tiny potholes.
Meet Frida the Freedom mobile. She belongs to Paige and we were so proud of how she did out on those rocky desert dirt roads!
After a long day...
The sun set and our campground at The Needles Outpost got quiet.
Day Two: RAIN & FOG made for some amazing scenery!
Arches National Park
